Tom Parker, de 32 años, ya recibe tratamiento por su tumor en el cerebro

El cantante, quien formó parte de la boy band británica The Wanted, informó que se encuentra en fase terminal. Hace poco fue diagnosticado con cáncer cerebral y ya recibe tratamiento.

La banda de hizo famosa por ganar un reality show inglés y que les dio proyección mundial, sin embargo desde el 2014 se disolvió y los integrantes dejaron la escena musical.

Tom Parker reveló la noticia a través de su Instagram en la que también compartió la portada de Ok! Magazine, a la que ofreció una entrevista exclusiva. “Hola chicos, saben que ambos hemos estado ausentes en redes sociales durante algunas semanas y es hora de decirles por qué. No hay una manera fácil de decir esto, pero lamentablemente me diagnosticaron un tumor cerebral y ya estoy en tratamiento. Decidimos, después de pensarlo mucho, que en lugar de esconderlos y tratar de mantenerlo en secreto, haríamos una entrevista en la que podríamos exponer todos los detalles y dejar que todos supieran los hechos a nuestra manera”, escribió el ex cantante.

Actualmente tiene 32 años; tiene una hija de un año y su esposa Kelsey dará a luz en diciembre a su segundo hijo.

The Wanted lanzó temas exitosos como “Glad You Came”, que llegó al número 3 en las listas de Billboard de EU, o “Heart Vacancy” y “All Time Low”.
